Alice McCAll – Australian Designer Series
Designer Alice McCall worked in UK over a decade ago, spending two successful years at MTV London as stylist for the Stylissimo series. Alice also style Natalie Imbruglia for Dazed and Confused , which led to a continued collaborations that would last a further two years and include styling the star for press shoots, public performances and videos.
After working as a stylist for a while,Alice made the transition to Fashion Designer.
Alice designed for the UK label ‘Buddhist Punk’ for Spring/Summer 2002 womenswear collection that was sold at Liberty of London. She also designed for the Australian label ‘Sass & Bide’ playing integral part of of the design team, contributing for the label success, working on the collections that were presented at London Fashion Week 2003 and New York Fashion Week 2004. In 2004, she launched her namesake womenswear label ‘Alice McCall‘ to critical acclaim at Australian Fashion Week.
She has also had collaborations with the Australian label ‘General Pants’ and the street label ‘Topshop’.Alice’s collections are light and young, her aesthetics suitable for an unassuming clientele., her creations summery and sexy.
