Salvatore Ferragamo, Tirassegno décolleté, 1958, Firenze, Museo Salvatore Ferragamo.
If you’ve always fancied an opportunity to pick the artistic mind of Salvatore Ferragamo, the “Across Art and Fashion” exhibition at the Museo Salvatore Ferragamo will be your best bet.
Opening 18 May 2016 in collaboration with other cultural institutions, the retrospective exhibition is curated with the shoe maestro’s love for art in mind.
I posted about this exhibition a while back, here Vogue display some pics of the exhibition.
Spanning four centuries, “Anatomy of a Collection” is mostly comprised of clothes worn by historical figures, high society and stars of stage and screen, from Marie Antoinette and the young dauphin—a corset and shirt of touching simplicity—to Empress Joséphine Bonaparte, Sarah Bernhardt, Audrey Hepburn, and the Duchess of Windsor.

Click through the images, Wen’s designs are simply beautifull.
Wen hails from Hainan, China, and came to the U.S. six years ago. He loved art from early childhood and was encouraged to become a designer by his high school art teacher. He counts John Galliano as his icon, and like the former Dior creative director, thinks of himself as a storyteller designer. Wen also has a passion for textiles, as the elaborately woven materials in his thesis project suggest.

Karlie Kloss Met Gala gown was one of my favorite of the night.
Here Karlie gives us a glimpse of the making and design process of her dress plus the getting ready for the night and what it meant to her..
The dress may not be all “machina”, but certainly pays respect to workmanship, design and style, the result is great and she looked divine as always.
